The Mikhailovsky Theater presents Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera The Tsar’s Bride in an impressive interpretation by Andrey Moguchiy, director of the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre. Moguchiy interprets the score of Rimsky-Korsakov as a psychological drama, resonating both in the vocal and in the orchestral parts. The characters are surrounded by installations of the artist Maxim Isaev. Mikhail Tatarnikov conducts this impressive score.
